Adult Psychiatrist- Coastal Brunswick

A full time Adult Psychiatrist is sought for Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick Maine. The facility is a 12-bed lock down unit which accepts both voluntary and involuntary patients. The practice utilizes a multidisciplinary team approach to care. There are 10-15 consultations per month in other depts. of the hospital primarily med/surg and ICU. H& P’s are performed by the Hospitalist service. The schedule is 8:00-5:00, Monday -Friday. Call schedule 1-8 weekends, and 1-8 nights is generally handled from home. You will work with another Psychiatrist on site. We are seeking a board certified/eligible Adult Psychiatrist interested in an in-hospital practice. Sorry not eligible to sponsor a J-1 waiver. This rapidly expanding community hospital recently added another 18 med/surg beds, two more operating rooms, doubled the size of the emergency department, and opened a Primary Care and Walk-In Clinic in downtown Brunswick.

Mid Coast Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission, and is recognized as a Magnet facility by the American Nurses Credentialing Center for exceptional nursing and patient care.
