the University of Vermont (Vermont), the University of New England
(Maine), and Dartmouth (New Hampshire). Maine boasts numerous
residency programs including five in Family Practice and a combined
Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Family Practice program through
the University of New England. In addition, the Maine Medical
Center in Portland also offers Residencies and Fellowships in
numerous medical specialties (including: Emergency Medicine,
Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine-Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Psychiatry,
and Sports Medicine). Many doctors graduating from these programs
