Emergency Department Medical Director, Blue Hill Memorial Hospital

Great leadership opportunity for an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to serve as Emergency Department Medical Director at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital located in the beautiful coast community of Blue Hill, Maine. Candidates who are emergency medicine or family medicine trained but with ED experience will be considered. The schedule in this 25-bed critical access hospital is 24-hour shifts, between 6-8 shifts per month. Medical Director responsibilities, 2 days per month. ED  is staffed by physicians, 4 full time, and a pool of per diems. The position has a competitive compensation and medical director stipend. The ED averages, 5500 visits annually.
