Emergency physician wanted for Presque Isle, Maine

The Aroostook Medical Center (TAMC) is looking for a qualified ED physician to join the 6-physician Emergency Department. This is a full time, 11-13 hour shifts, 36-hours per week. Double coverage with PA ‘s during peak periods.  Volume is around 16,000 visits annually. Hourly pay rate among the highest in the State.

 TAMC is a progressive 161-bed organization with facilities in three communities and five health centers, located in Central and Northern area of Aroostook County, in Northern Maine.  The A.R. Gould division in Presque Isle serves as its main acute care facility.  A highly skilled 65-member medical staff serves a primary care population of 35,000. TAMC is the largest hospital north of Bangor and offers a broad range of services such as a Sleep Lab, Cardiovascular Lab, Radiation Oncology, and Dialysis Center. Additionally, the Medical Staff includes the only full time Pulmonologist, Cardiologist, Hematology/Oncologist, and 24/7 Hospitalist Service.
