An excellent opportunity has opened up for a full time General Surgeon in the town of Pittsfield, Maine. Sebasticook Valley Health is recruiting a General Surgeon. The successful candidate will have a full range of general surgery skills including advanced laparoscopy. Private and employed primary care physicians located throughout Pittsfield and surrounding communities provide a ready referral source. Call is 1 in 3. This very important position will carry a highly competitive compensation and benefits package. This is an employed position. The hospital is an affiliate of Eastern Maine Medical Center the tertiary care center located in Bangor, 45 minutes north of Pittsfield. Through this affiliation access to a variety of subspecialty services is possible both on-site and through referrals to Bangor.
