Mercy Hospital is seeking the nineth member of their Hospitalist team. This is a well established hospitalist service. The additional member is an expansion of the service due to increased utilization and scheduling demands. The schedule is 16 shifts per month, 2 overnight shifts per month. There is EICU nightime coverage. The 7-bed ICU is managed by the Hospitalist team in collaboration with Pulmonary/CC physicians. The Hospitalists also work with a large experienced team of physician extenders. Mercy is keeping pace with salary and compensation. The right fit is a physician who has experience in hospitalist medicine or will be graduating from a program with a heavy concentration of in-hospital clinical rotations.
