Southern Maine Medical Center is looking for an NP or PA to work 32 hours a week at one of their Internal Medicine practices. The hired candidate will provide primary care to patients in the clinic following established standards and practices. Someone with at least three years of experience in a physician office setting will be best suited for this position. The hired candidate will receive competitive compensation and benefits.

The Medical Staff of Southern Maine Medical Center consists of approximately 180 active physicians. Home health care is provided by SMMC Visiting Nurses. Currently there are four physicians at the practice but they are in hopes of adding a fifth in the near future. This practice has never used physician extenders so someone with experience will be best suited for this position.
