The Aroostook Medical Center (TAMC) is looking for a qualified ED physician to join the 5-physician Emergency Department. This is a full time, 11-13 hour shifts, 36-hours per week. Double coverage with PA during peak periods. Volume is around 16,000 visits annually. Hourly rate among the highest in the State! Modern well equipped department with experienced colleagues. A 24/7 Hospitalist service works closely with ED staff handling admissions.

Hospital

The Aroostook Medical Center (TAMC) is a sophisticated 89-bed community hospital, with a 24-hour physician staffed emergency room, 72-bed continuing care unit and ten health centers located across the central and northern sections of Aroostook County in northern Maine. Waldo County General Hospital is a 140-year old, 25-bed critical access community hospital (CAH) located in the city of Belfast, Maine. This hospital is the sole-community provider of health care for Waldo County.
