Sebasticook Valley Hospital has an exciting leadership opportunity to Direct Inpatient Services. This position could be Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who enjoys developing programs, leading change and improving quality in a team setting. You will work with a team of Advanced Practitioners who will serve as house officers, admitting and rounding on patients in the hospital. You will provide leadership and supervision to the team. The Emergency Dept is staffed by physicians 24/7 who handle nighttime admissions. Sebasticook Valley Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a small inpatient census. Trauma patients and critically ill patients are transferred to the tertiary care center. The Director will work a weekday schedule with the occasionally after hours consult. Qualifications will include experience and comfort caring for patients in-hospital. Ability to perform inpatient procedures.
