			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Sebasticook Valley Hospital</strong> has an exciting leadership opportunity to Direct Inpatient Services. This position could be Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who enjoys developing programs, leading change and improving quality in a team setting. You will work with a team of Advanced Practitioners who will serve as house officers, admitting and rounding on patients in the hospital. You will provide leadership and supervision to the team. The Emergency Dept is staffed by physicians 24/7 who handle nighttime admissions. Sebasticook Valley Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a small inpatient census. Trauma patients and critically ill patients are transferred to the tertiary care center. The Director will work a weekday schedule with the occasionally after hours consult. Qualifications will include experience and comfort caring for patients in-hospital. Ability to perform inpatient procedures.  A very competitive compensation and benefits package is offered to qualified individuals.</p>
<p><strong>Sebasticook Valley Health</strong> (SVH) is a progressive 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in <strong>Pittsfield, Maine</strong>. The hospital is an integral member of the communities it serves. SVH takes a proactive approach in helping people in the Sebasticook Valley improve the quality of their lives. The hospital works with local businesses, schools, the religious community, other healthcare providers, area organizations, and private individuals to make the Valley a healthy place to live. The schedule is 7 days on 7 days off working 10 hr shifts. Emergency Department is staffed 24/7 with physicians who do after hour admissions. The average daily census is 18 which also includes swing bed patients, and daily admissions average around 3. Some basic in-hospital procedures are required such as, stress testing, and infrequently, lumbar punctures, central lines. A competitive compensation and benefits package is offered. The hospital is qualified to sponsor a J-1 or H1-B waiver.    </p>
<p>Penobscot Valley Hospital (PVH) is the center for primary, emergency, and acute care in Northern Penobscot County, Maine.
