<p><strong>Hospital </strong></p>
<p><em>The Aroostook Medical Center (TAMC)</em> is a sophisticated 89-bed community hospital with 24/7 physician staffed ED, ten health centers located across the central and northern sections of Aroostook County in northern Maine. The region is home to over 65 physicians serving an area population of nearly 75,000 people. TAMC is the <span style="text-decoration: underline;">largest hospital north of Bangor </span>and offers the only Sleep Lab, Cardiovascular Lab, Radiation Oncology, and Dialysis Center. Additionally, the Medical Staff includes the only full time Pulmonologist, Endocrinologist, Cardiologist,Hematology/Oncologist, and 24/7 Hospitalist Service.</p>
<p>TAMC offers the most comprehensive range of cardiac services in Northern Maine. This is a general urology practice with a wide variety of cases, and a significant amonut of outpatient work. There will be no call with this position. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A large and very busy  urology practice located in Bangor, Maine, is seeking a physician to help them offer support and services in Maine&#8217;s second largest city. They perform a large number of in-office procedures as well as surgery in the hospital setting. The hospital offers robotic surgical technology with 2 DaVinci systems. Physicians are currently doing radical prostetectomies, nephrectomies, and other major procedures with robotics, as well as female incontinence program.   The clinic is located in a new building near the hospital. The current staff include 5 physicians and 2 allied health professionals. Competitive compensation with full benefits and option for assistance with medical education debt available.</p>
<p>Eastern Maine Medical Center, located right in the city of <strong>Bangor</strong>, is Maine&#8217;s second largest hospital (a 400-bed facility). This prominent organization operates two major hospitals in the neighboring towns of Augusta and Waterville with a combined capacity of over 300 beds!</p>
<p>The hiring practice offers general urology services to patients of all ages. The new physician will be the fourth in the group, and the call is shared with another practitioner, so for the incoming doctor call will be just 1:5. If you are selected, you will receive a very competitive starting salary on a two year guarantee basis, along with comprehensive benefits including generous time off, paid relocation, and maybe even medical debt assistance. If all goes well, a partnership opportunity will be extended prior to the end of your contract. If you prefer to have an employed situation, that is an option as well.</p>
<p>The MaineGeneral Medical Center is a hospital with two campuses, one in Augusta and one in Waterville, about twenty minutes apart when using I-95, Maine&#8217;s major freeway.
