St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center is a 233-bed acute care facility serving a large territory with over 112,000 residents. The Women’s Health Pavilion offers a full array of health services including Family Birthing Unit, state-of-the-art private birthing rooms with whirlpool baths. The d’Youville Pavilion is the largest nursing home north of Boston offering 112-bed medicare certified skilled care unit, 42-bed Alzheimer Unit, and 126-bed Nursing Facility. St. Mary’s psychiatry unit consists of 51 inpatient beds caring for patients of all ages. They provide a full range of programs, including adolescent chemical dependency, eating disorders, inpatient and outpatient counseling, and even safe housing for young people and families in crisis.
Recently, St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center received three national awards for healthcare service quality from Avatar International Inc., a leader in healthcare research and consulting. St. Mary’s was nationally recognized for Best Performance in Emergency Care, Best Performance in Inpatient Care, and Meeting and Exceeding Patient Expectations, all based on the results of patient surveys.
