Dear Dr. Mathew,
To practice in the US is quite a process because there are certain requirement for licensing in the US and there are more requirements for hospital privileging. Hospitals require US Board Certification or Eligibility, which will require you to complete a surgical residency in the US. You will need to pass the ECFMG test, and the USMLE's. And you will have to obtain a VISA to allow you to train the in US.

My name is Dawna Myrick and I am a Med. Assist. student at Kaplan University, formerly Andover College. I was given your name as a contact.

The final requirement for graduation and to receive my Associates Degree in Medical Assisting is to complete 160 hours (unpaid) of externship over a 10 week period. I need to secure a host site where I will be able to work with a mentor who will lead me throughout the clinical experience. I will need to demonstrate office skills as well as clinical/procedural skills.
Can you help?

Thank you

Thank you for your question Amanda. As of now, the Maine Recruitment Center does not recruit for Kinesiology. The links posted above might be helpful to you because they will direct you to the opportunities that hospitals have that we do not recruit for such as RN's, Lab Techs, and possibly Kinesiology. Good Luck in your search!

Hello,

I'm just wondering if you have options for a Kinesiologist? I'm just finishing my degree and nobody seems to recognize Kinesiologists.

Thank you,

Amanda
