A community health center in rural central Maine seeks an FP physician to join their team. This is a full scope, inpatient and outpatient practice, with OB optional. The position is located in the town of Coopers Mills, about twenty minutes east of Maine’s capital city of Augusta, and about a half hour from the seacoast town of Belfast. This health center has been a part of this community since 1980. An average of 5,000 regional residents are cared for at this health center annually, amassing some 19,000 patient visits. Inpatient care is provided at the nearby MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. This area is home to a variety of outdoor activities. In the fall, watch the area come ablaze with the changing leaves… and when the snow flies, enjoy cross-country skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling.
