Family Practice opening details

A large community health center in the town of Livermore Falls, in west-central Maine, is looking for an additional Family Practice Physician. This is a full time position providing outpatient only (no OB) services. Franklin Memorial Hospital (FMH) in nearby Farmington, Maine, has a team of hospitalists to care for admitted patients referred by this practice.

The selected physician will join three doctors and two midlevel practitioners in providing quality care to the 2000 or so patients who seek care here each month. Livermore Falls is located about 45 minutes north of Lewiston, and about 30 minutes south of Farmington, Maine. The incoming doctor will receive a competitive salary and benefits package that includes paid liability insurance, help with educational debt assistance, and much more!

Livermore Falls is a town of about 3,500 people. Area residents have easy access to shopping and other services in Augusta, as well as the University of Maine at Farmington, a top ranked Liberal Arts University.

Franklin Memorial Hospital is a terrific, 70-bed acute care institution, JCAHO-accredited, and expanding to better serve 40,000 residents in this picturesque area near Maine’s western mountains.
