Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine

Internist wanted for full time position with an 8-physician Hospitalist team. The schedule is 7-days on 7-days off, and rotating night coverage. This is a well established program operating successfully for 10 years. Three Physician Assistants offer additional coverage during the daytime.

The hospital’s facilities were recently updated through a series of major renovations that improved virtually all patient care areas including patient rooms (80% of which are now private), a state-of-the-art emergency department and operating suites, a new MRI Center, and a new Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Also improved were radiology, cardiology, nuclear medicine, the laboratory, lymphedema clinic, pain management, pre-admission testing, physical and occupational therapy, respiratory care and case management. The result is a modernized operation ready to provide a broad range of care services today, and for years to come.
