A Family Practice in Rumford is looking to hire a full-time mid-level practitioner. The hired candidate will support a team of physicians who provide services to residents in a beautiful western Maine community. This would be a great opportunity for a new graduate or someone with experience who’s looking to work in a rural location. Your practice is located next door to your admitting hospital, Rumford Hospital. The hired candidate will receive a competitive salary with incentive bonuses as well as a full benefits package.

Rumford Hospital is a critical access hospital, providing comprehensive primary care and sophisticated diagnostic services, including CT scanning, ultrasound and nuclear medicine to a service area of well over 16,000 people. The hospital offers medical surgical nursing services, a birthing center, women's health services and ambulatory surgery. The Swing Bed program provides care for patients who need skilled nursing services. RH also maintains a 24-hour emergency department and staffs an Intensive Care Unit. Rumford Hospital is an affiliate of Central Maine Medical Center which partners with Rumford to provide a full range of specialty clinics and prevention programs. A large capital expansion program is underway which will upgrade existing infrastructure and add new services.

Rumford, Maine, is located in western Maine nestled in picturesque mountains, just half an hour from Maine’s border with New Hampshire (where shopping is available with no sales tax). The Moontide Water Festival is held every 4th of July, which features the largest fireworks display in the state of Maine. On average 45,000 to 50,000 attend this spectacular event.
