Position A skilled Urologist is invited to join a new Urology department for this expanding community hospital. Newly trained physicians will be considered along with experienced specialists. We would ideally like to attract two doctors, including one with at least three years of professional practice experience. The incoming physicians will have the ability to substantially influence the growth and direction of this new department! Full hospital support is provided to ensure success in this effort, including the establishment of appropriate facilities and equipment. One physician is sought immediately, with plans to add a second specialist without delay. Candidates who have an interest in sub-specializing will be given that opportunity. The selected doctor will receive a generous salary, benefits, and other perks including: paid liability insurance, paid health and dental insurance, a generous CME expense budget, 25 paid days off per year for vacation and CME, paid relocation expenses, and more, possibly including a signing bonus. Located on 150 acres of beautifully wooded land in Brunswick, Maine, Mid Coast Hospital matches the newest medical technology and skilled medical professionals with Maine’s natural beauty to meet the psychological as well as physiological healing needs of their patients. This 74-bed hospital has an active medical staff of more than 125 physicians serving a population of 90,000 area residents. Mid Coast Hospital offers inpatient services such as a 24-hour Emergency Department, ICU, Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics, Behavioral Health unit, and a separate Woman’s Health unit concentrating on childbirth at its Baby Place and Gynecological Services center. Outpatient services include Day Surgery, Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging (including the most advanced CT, PET scans and MRI), Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy, and a Hearing Center.
