Neurology opening details

Each practice will include a full scope of care with the following: General neurology including EEG/EKG, stroke, headache, movement disorders, Parkinson’s, epilepsy/seizures, etc. The selected physician will have a mostly office-based practice, but some hospital work is included too. Our client is also assembling a stroke team on which the new neurologists will be key players.

The first new neurologist can assume the turnkey operation of a soon to be retiring general neurologist in Waterville with a full patient panel – step right in! There is space in this location to add a second neurologist, too. The second physician hired has the option of joining the first in Waterville, or establishing a practice in nearby Augusta. Call will start out on a consultative basis, and as we staff this specialty, a call schedule will grow to about 1:3-4. Employment terms are flexible! You can establish your own private practice with full hospital support to launch the operation: income guarantee, benefits, a full budget to manage the practice, etc. Or, join as an employee with a very competitive base salary, plus benefits and incentives! Assistance with student loans accompanies either option. While this is a general practice providing neurological services to patients of all ages and backgrounds, an opportunity to specialize in one or more aspects of the field may be possible, particularly for fellowship-trained candidates!
