Redding-Fairview Hospital in the beautiful western Maine community of Skowhegan is seeking a well rounded general surgeon. You will join another highly skilled fellowship trained surgeon well respected by peers and patients.
With an on-site helipad, large trauma cases are flown to the nearby tertiary care center. A typical call week would average one call at home per day before 10 p.m. OR time is easy to schedule, the staff are experienced and very competent. The primary care physicians are extremely supportive, and eager for another surgeon to come to the area.
This is an employed position with the Hospital. A generous salary, with incentive, and fringe benefits are offered.

Skowhegan schools are top-notch. For children attending school below 8th grade, there are four different schools serving the community.
