A BC/BE Cardiologist is invited to join a prestigious 20+ physician private cardiology group practice based near Portland, Maine. The selected doctor will work in a community setting with time divided between Waterville and Augusta, Maine - two small cities situated just twenty miles apart, about an hour northeast of Portland. These cities are centrally located, and are also about an hour each from the Atlantic coast, and from Maine's picturesque mountain and ski region! A qualified candidate will be capable of, and interest in handling invasive and noninvasive procedures and testing. Echo and catherization skills are a must, while pacemaker and nuclear reading skills are also highly desirable. Practicing physicians and graduating residents/fellows are all invited to apply for this wonderful opportunity. Your practice will be based in an existing office in the great college town of Waterville. You will manage cathing and other procedures in a new, state-of-the-art cath lab in a major medical center in Maine's capital city of Augusta, just twenty minutes from your home office. The hiring practice is also preparing to open an exciting new facility, completely outfitted with the latest echo equipment, in north Augusta (between the two existing offices). This is a full time position, which consists of 4½ days per week. The call for this position is a very comfortable 1:4.
