Four member Orthopedic group in Biddeford is looking for a physician to join their well established and very busy practice. A good fit will be someone Fellowship trained in an Orthopedic subspecialty, desiring about one half of practice volume in general orthopedics. The competitive compensation package includes a two year income guarantee, followed by the high potential of partnership. This is a prime spot for someone eager to build a busy successful practice.
Surgery is performed at Southern Maine Medical Center (SMMC), a 150-bed modern hospital serving a population of 65,000 in one of the fastest growing communities in Maine. SMMC has an active medical staff of 175, which includes many highly qualified subspecialists and a large number of primary care physicians as a ready referral base.
Biddeford and sister town Saco are located just 15 miles south of Portland and 90-miles north of Boston. The area has miles beautiful sandy beaches bounded by rocky promontories. West of the coastline are gentle rolling hills with beautiful farms. The southern coast of Maine is very much in demand for it's beauty, access to cultural and recreational resources, excellent schools, safe neighborhoods, all contributing to the highest quality of life. The University of New England, Maine's only medical school is located in nearby Biddeford, Pool. Family Practice residents rotate through the Orthopedic practice.
