Private practice option in southern coastal location!

Board Eligible or Certified Internal Medicine, Not J-1 or H1-B site

Webhannet Internal Medicine, well established full service practice is seeking a sixth physician to meet increasing demand. With two office locations, one in York the other in Moody, ME., the group has a very large patient base. Within the last 10 years the practice has grown from a solo private practice to a five physician group practice. A good fit will be someone who desires full scope of practice with inpatient care delivered at York Hospital. Offered is a two year salary guarantee with partnership at the end of that period. You will work with physicians whose careers span 4 -23 years in practice.

York Hospital is a not-for-profit 79-bed hospital located on the southern coast of Maine with a service area of over 33,000 people. A modern facility with excellent medical/surgical units, an outstanding emergent care center, extensive inpatient and outpatient services and many year-round community programs, York Hospital is known for its passion for detail and desire to make every patient's visit an unusually pleasing one where staff members are dedicated to creating nurturing, caring and positive relationships with patients and families.

York is one of Maine's southernmost coastal towns, located about 30 minutes south of Portland, just a few minutes from the New Hampshire border, and about 90 minutes from downtown Boston. Best known for its beaches, there is much more to this charming town than sand and surf!

The town of York is a beautiful southern Maine town that has managed to retain its historic heritage. A sprawling area of 66 square miles, York is comprised of four distinct communities: York Village (often referred to as "Old York"), York Beach, York Harbor, and Cape Neddick. These four communities have not only some of the most spectacular views and beaches on the Maine coast, but some of the most well-preserved and authentic historic buildings and sites.

The school system prides itself in achieving top grades in primary education goal. In addition to top notch academic ratings the schools have excellent sports and extra-curricular offerings.

York is on the “Downeaster†Amtrak rail line with several daily round trips to Boston. There is a wide array of real estate options from new residential neighborhoods to New England colonials to rustic farms and land to build your own home. Nearby Kittery is a shoppers dream with more than 120 outlet stores. The area offers small town comfort and safety yet easy access to cultural and recreation options.
