Family Practice opening details

A busy, established private practice in Scarborough, just south of Portland, seeks an additional Family Practice physician to join their operation. The selected physician should be BE/BC, and will provide primary care services on an outpatient-only basis. This practice also handles some walk-in and urgent care cases, so be prepared to see some of this type of work in addition to scheduled primary care appointments. Assist in overseeing multiple midlevel practitioners. The ideal candidate will have an interest in specializing in women’s health in conjunction with a general practice.

Because of the structure of this operation, and the fact that this practice does not handle any inpatient work, call is on a phone basis ONLY (shared on a 1:5 schedule). This is a part-time position with a schedule of 20-30 hours/week or so, to be determined between the doctor and the practice management.
